The latter comes with a full cab and a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. There is also High Lifter Edition model for mud riding and a Ranch Edition for work. Similarly there is a new lineup of Ranger Crew XP 1000 models including one base model priced at $15,199 MSRP, three EPS models at $16,999 and High Lifter and Northstar HVAC Editions priced at $20,499 and $25,999 respectively. Key features of the Ranger XP 1000 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>80 hp, 999cc ProStar engine with EFI<\/li>\n<li>True On-Demand AWD\/2WD\/ VersaTrac Turf Mode<\/li>\n<li>10&#8243; of front\/rear suspension travel<\/li>\n<li>12&#8243; of ground clearance<\/li>\n<li>Hydraulic disc brakes<\/li>\n<li>25&#8243; tires on steel wheels<\/li>\n<li>1,000 lb. cargo box capacity<\/li>\n<li>2,000 lb. towing capacity and 2&#8243; receiver hitch<\/li>\n<li>3 person capacity<\/li>\n<li>Tilt steering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The EPS models include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>EPS<\/li>\n<li>26&#8243; tires on aluminum Black Xcelerator wheels<\/li>\n<li>Pro-Lock On-Demand AWD\/2WD\/ VersaTrac Turf Mode<\/li>\n<li>Adjustable driver seat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aZi7r3kA-xU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.texasoutdoorsnetwork.com<\/a> &#8211; Video walk through, first drive??and review of the Hunter Edition which adds camo bodywork, winch, cut and sew seats, gun scabbards and active descent control.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tilt bed has standard tailgate like a pickup truck<\/li>\n<li>Industry leading horsepower<\/li>\n<li>Engine behind the seat makes it less noisy and cooler<\/li>\n<li>Lots of storage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_krENALV_94\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Video review<\/a> &#8211; Dealer walkthrough of Range XP 1000 Ranch Edition. ??More of a walkthrough than a review. The Ranch Edition includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4,500 lb. winch<\/li>\n<li>Brush guard<\/li>\n<li>Rear view mirror<\/li>\n<li>In cab gun mounts<\/li>\n<li>Poly sport roof<\/li>\n<li>Maxxis tires<\/li>\n<li>Headache rack<\/li>\n<li>Wire spool<\/li>\n<li>T-post hauler<\/li>\n<li>Self-leveling suspension<\/li>\n<li>Rear brush guard<\/li>\n<li>Pro-Lock On-Demand AWD\/2WD\/ VersaTrac Turf Mode<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=52bjVuMzYnA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Polaris<\/a> &#8211; Video comparison of Ranger XP 1000 and Honda Pioneer 1000. This is produced by Polaris so obviously it shows the Ranger in a better light. More interesting is some of the comments left by users. First though, some of the advantages of the Ranger XP 1000 as pointed out by Polaris.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More horsepower<\/li>\n<li>Better acceleration<\/li>\n<li>Easier to use on-demand all-wheel drive<\/li>\n<li>More leg room<\/li>\n<li>Better throttle control<\/li>\n<li>Better sealed cab system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As users point out, the comparison is between the three person Ranger vs. the 5-person Pioneer instead of the 3 person Pioneer, which users think is an apples to oranges comparison.
